Dentures are artificial teeth and gums that are formed to your mouth and created by your dentists to replace lost or removed natural teeth. They come in many sizes and can be altered as per your requirements. They are custom-made to fit your mouth comfortably and are typically made of acrylic resin or a combination of acrylic resin and metal.
There are two types of dentures available: Partial Dentures, which replace one tooth or several teeth at a time, and Full Dentures, which can replace an entire set of teeth on the upper or lower gum line.
Both types of dentures are kept in place with the help of clasps which anchor neighbouring teeth or by the dentures’ natural suction. Sometimes, in order to keep the dentures in place, a denture fixative or glue may be advised. At KDC, we take care of each patient’s individual needs by designing all dentures by our dentists or our dental technicians.
